Costa Rica
Climate

December to April is known as the "dry season", which means temperatures of between 75 to 80°F in the Central Valley and 85 to 90°F on both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.

While, April to November is called the "green season" when there is little variation in the temperature but an increase in the rains.

National Geographic carried out a study in Costa Rica which declared an area of the Central Valley as the best climate in the world.

Costa Rica Awaits You ..

Costa Rica means "Rich Coast" and truly it is ..

For Costa Rica's wealth is natural beauty and friendly yet most inviting for people seeking that memorable vacation pleasure in an uncrowded tropical atmosphere.

Perfect year-round climate with so much to see, absorb and experience makes Costa Rica such an alluring vacation paradise.

The Costa Rica people are extremely friendly, full of hospitality, love to dance and jump at any opportunity to celebrate. Known to be family-oriented, peaceful and fun loving. Combined this with amazing natural beauty, diverse landscape and unlimited fun, it's the Costa Rican people and blending of culture that makes Costa Rica a perfect vacation destination.

Costa Rica is unique in so many ways and this variety is what makes this tropical  paradise  such an exciting  place to visit.  In the past decade, this small Central American country has become a major destination for travelers from all across the world.

Few places on earth can match it for the natural beauty and diversity which is paralleled by a variety of outdoor activities that range from the serene to the thrill-seeking!

The country's most impressive quality, however, is its biological diversity, seen in the variety of flora, fauna, landscapes, and microclimates.

National parks and preserves cover about 15% of the country and are home to species of birds,  species of mammals, reptiles and amphibians, and different species of flowering plants, among them a  vast varietyof orchids.

Landscapes include cool mountain valleys and massive volcanoes, hilly coffee fincas (farms) and flat banana groves, and sultry mangrove forests and palm-strewn beaches.

The many rivers that wind down the country's valleys wind through steep stretches that are popular white-water rafting routes, and some end up as jungle waterways appropriate for both animal-watching and sportfishing.

With mile upon mile of  fascinating beaches backdropped by coconut palms and thick forest, the Caribbean and Pacific coasts are ideal for swimming and sunbathing, and when the sun goes down, many beaches are visited by nesting sea turtles. The perfect spot for solitude and relaxtion.

The oceans that hug those coasts endure coral formations, rugged islands, colorful schools of fish, and plentiful waves, enticing anglers, surfers, and sea kayakers.

The adventure, natural beauty and activites never end in Costa Rica.
