Reno

When visiting Reno be sure to explore.

Regionally, Reno features a variety of attractions which are hard to beat. These attractions are best experienced during the spring, summer, and early fall. Reno gets cold in the winter, so if you’re visiting in the winter, look to ski resorts to entertain you during the day.

  • There are several World-class ski areas within a one-hour drive of Reno, including Squaw Valley, Heavenly and Alpine Meadows.
  • The eastern entrances to Yosemite National Park are about an hour and a half south. Excellent dayhiking and backpacking are found around Tuolomne Meadows and Dana Pass before descending into more crowded Yosemite Valley.
  • Washoe Valley~Bower’s Mansion & Davis Creek Park. Washoe Valley is a very picturesque valley located about 30 minutes south of Reno two great regional parks which should not be missed: Bower’s Mansion and Davis Creek Park.
  • Virginia City~The home of the Comstock Lode and is a historic landmark district.Wander its historic C Street, wander through its cemetery, and if you’re a train buff, to ride the V&T tourist train.
  • Carson City~From its founding this town was intended to be Nevada’s capital city. The historic Carson City mint is now home to the Nevada State Museum, with exhibits dealing with everything from prehistoric native life to the Old West mining boom to the current day. A tour of historic homes and the personalities behind them can be taken by following the blue lines on the sidewalks, beginning from downtown.
  • Lake Tahoe~Shared with California, this alpine lake features crystal clear cold water, and a variety of attractions including the MS Dixie paddlewheel trawler, Vikingsholm Castle, and the South Lake Tahoe/Stateline casino and tourist center.

“The Biggest Little City In The World”

Reno, not too large, and not too small.

The Reno Strip, Virginia Street makes everything very easily accessible with alot of entertainment fun for all.

Reno offers great non-stop gaming, great dining, and entertainment with some fabulous headliners.

It's also a great place to mix business with pleasure.

Reno is a city in the state of Nevada, located along the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada mountains. A destination in its own right and a gateway for many outdoor activities, Reno is also the second largest gaming destination in Nevada, featuring quite an array of resort hotel-casinos, although the number doesn't begin to approach the scale of Las Vegas.

Entertainment is Reno is dazzling.

From big-name stars like Engelburt Humperdinck, Debbie Reynolds and Lou Rawls to Ted Nugent, Dwight Yoakam and Dennis Miller live on stage.

With the Reno music scene featuring even more of the biggest stars from Motown, Nashville and Hollywood.

Reno also offers some outstanding stage productions from Broadway to the local Performing Arts venues.

The nightlife in Reno is fun and exciting.

Great dance clubs, rowdy country and western bars to cool lounges and cabarets.

You most definitely will not be bored with all this Reno excitement around you .

There are some fabulous sites to venture to during you stay in Reno....

Consider visiting :

  • Sparks
  • Virginia City
  • Carson City
  • Pony Express Trails
  • Sierra Mountain Range

and a visit to Lake Tahoe is a must!

So if you feel like some fun and excitment at a place that is not too big, yet not too small.

Getaway to Reno !

Most defintely a place you will truly enjoy!
